  • Alarm Data: Saved alarm time and alarm active/inactive state
  • Timer State: Current timer configuration (if set)
  • Additional Preferences: Fullscreen state, auto-seasonal theme toggle, ambient sound preferences

All this data is stored under the localStorage key "starry-night-clock-settings" and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or cache.

4.2 Web Audio API

TimeKitHub uses the Web Audio API to generate alarm and timer sounds directly in your browser. No audio files are downloaded or stored. The audio context only activates when alarms or timers are triggered.

4.3 Cookies

TimeKitHub does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We only use localStorage for storing your preferences as described above.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 External Resources

TimeKitHub uses the following third-party resources:

  • Country Flags: Flag images are loaded from flagcdn.com to display country flags in the world clock feature. These are loaded on-demand when you view world clocks.
  • Timezone Database: We use the @vvo/tzdb library (bundled in the application) for timezone data. This library does not transmit any data externally.

5.2 Analytics and Monitoring

Currently, TimeKitHub does not use any analytics or monitoring services. All functionality works entirely offline after the initial page load. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future and will update this policy accordingly.

6. Data Security

Since TimeKitHub operates entirely in your browser with no server-side data transmission (except for loading country flag images), your data is as secure as your device and browser. All preferences and settings are stored locally and never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
